Truly delicious fusion food in a gorgeous setting. What a treat it was to be here. My favourite was the roasted Brussels sprouts -- I didn't know the oft-detested vegetable could be elevated to such level. The price is a little high, and portions smaller than what I would've liked, however, it was worth it for the experience and quality of food. Service was also fast and staff were all so friendly. Highly recommended!
Best Japanese restaurants in Gatineau. Not only the food is great, but the atmosphere is excellent, and the service is just great. You can't go wrong when you choose this restaurant.
My fiance and I have been to KaTo a few times and absolutely love it! 10/10! . Our Waitress, Flavie, made our dining experience so enjoyable! Super nice and great at recommending food and wine. She even took the time to snap a photo for us. Must try the Duck Bao and Crispy Brussel Sprouts !
This is such a hidden gem inside the hotel. The sushi is always fresh and beautifully prepared. First time doing sushi bar seating. Which was fun!! A favourite entertaining appetizer is the flaming scallops. As for the hotel itself, hard pass.
We absolutely loved our lunch at Kato restaurant. We had delicious beef tacos and sushis. Everything was so tasty and fresh ! Our server Guillaume was attentive , pleasant and professional. Also the decor and atmosphere at Kato is amazing and beautiful. We recommend it and we will go back for sure !! Oh , and the fried cheese cake we share was out of this world
Insanely delicious! Came here after an afternoon at Koena and split several dishes with a friend. We had the beef tacos, duck bao buns, angry chicken, and dynamite roll. My half of the bill came to 33 and was well worth it. It was more than enough for dinner and everything was outstanding. Service was a little slow but very friendly. 10/10 would recommend and can’t wait to come back!
This restaurant has to be one of the best in Canada. The staff were so attentive and professional, even the staff clearing other tables ask if we needed anything. Service was excellent, our young lady explained all the dishes and made sure I didn't get spicy food. And now the food, prepared by professional chefs and excellent quality ingredients. Have to give 5 star on all areas. The manager also checked in with us a few times and we expressed our great experiences.
Had an incredible first visit to Kato this past week. Was craving good sushi and they definitely delivered with style! The appetizers and main were sensational - tasty, fresh and right quantity. We sat on the patio overlooking the spa and golf course! I’d say even with the pouring rain it was an incredible view! Highly recommend and will be going back soon!
